“The most rewarding aspect of my job is the people I get to interact with on a daily basis. The uniqueness of my position at the Center allows me to work alongside the researchers in the lab, the clinical staff, and most importantly, our patients. I feel privileged every day that I get to be a part of this incredible team, and an active participant in the groundbreaking work we do here!”
-Beth Levine, Clinical Trials Manager
Beth Levine received her bachelor's degree in psychology from George Washington University and, shortly after, began working in administration and research at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center. Eager to expand her knowledge, Beth left the hospital to begin a job at a biotech company, learning more about the industry side of clinical research. After honing her skills, Beth decided to merge her passion for research with her longtime desire to help people, returning to school at New York University to earn a second bachelor’s degree in nursing. In 2013, Beth began her first nursing job at IMSMP as a clinical nurse, and in 2016, the nature of her work expanded, as she began assisting the clinical research team at Tisch MSRCNY. In December 2016, Beth was promoted to Clinical Trials Manager, a role that involves her overseeing clinical research assistants and serving as the point person for the Phase II stem cell trial, as well as for all other clinical trials conducted at Tisch MSRCNY.
Beth Levine works with clinical research assistant, Sophia Yang (BA from Cornell University '17).
