J&J COVID-19 Vaccine Advisory

A ‘rare and severe’ type of blood clot has recently been seen in six people after the administration of Johnson & Johnson’s COVID-19 vaccine. The FDA and CDC have recommended pausing further administration of the vaccine pending further review. Due to this uncertainty, the Tisch MS Research Center of New York recommends that patients of the IMSMP avoid the J & J vaccine for now until further information becomes available.
