Earlier this morning, Dr. Saud Sadiq presented his stem cell research to the attendees of the Second International Adult Stem Cell Conference held at the Vatican.  Dr. Sadiq discussed the growing need for cellular therapy to be approved and used to repair the damage caused by multiple sclerosis.  IMSMP patient, Francesco Ferrari who resides in Italy, was in attendance and Dr. Sadiq was able to acknowledge Francesco's struggle with MS and illustrate the importance this treatment has for patients all around the world.  Dr.

Several scientists and physicians from the Tisch MS Research Center of New York and affiliated International Multiple Sclerosis Management Practice attended the 65th American Academy of Neurology (AAN) Annual Meeting in San Diego, CA from March 16-23, 2013.  Drs. Armistead Williams, Violaine Harris, and James Stark presented a series of research highlights from the conference during the April 1, 2013 lab meeting.  Notable conference presentations included:

 

Four posters by Tisch MS scientists were accepted by the American Academy of Neurology for presentation at the Academy's annual conference, held March 16-23 in San Diego, CA. The posters presented at AAN 2013 are:

L.H. Bell, V.K. Harris, and S.A. Sadiq. "Identification of CSF biomarkers of cognitive impairment and cerebellar dysfunction in multiple sclerosis."
